SALARY: £104,992 - £146,650pa (dependant on location) plus the benefits listed below

LOCATION: Bristol or London

HOURS:  Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Hybrid, 40% (or two days) in an office site

We’re searching for a visionary and experienced Product Owner with a strong background in Martech & content ecosystems to lead our brand-new lab, with expertise in establishing connected content systems that ensure our brands are consistently and beautifully reflected for our customers across all of our channels. Your role, alongside the  Lab Engineering Lead, is to place the customer at the heart of our operations, driving innovation within our content and marketing functions.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Lead the Marketing & Experience Systems Lab alongside the Lab Engineering lead with a two-in-a-box leadership model,

  • Define a customer-centric product vision & strategy for our Marketing & Experience systems to strengthen experience-led brands through a scaled, connected multi-channel content ecosystem.

  • Lead the transformation of our content supply chain, creating a reimagined, intelligent next-gen content ecosystem, powered by AI & automation ensuring content meets regulatory, ethical, and brand standards, and is continuously evolving based on engagement, sentiment, and real-time insights.

  • Formulate and support the delivery of lab and platform-level OKRs by providing product performance metrics, such as content efficiency and speed to market, along with benefits realisation data, such as reduced deployment costs, to achieve group-level goals and metrics.

  • Encourage a collaborative culture and empower product and engineering teams with full ownership of outcomes, fostering innovation and minimising risk.

  • Define, own, and communicate the product roadmap (including development cases) and coordinate product governance to best resolve how to serve internal (e.g. training and comms) and end customer needs.

  • Build effective links across the Group, understanding a wide variety of marketing and content needs and requirements to deliver customer value and continually evolve the product offering.

About you

  • Proven experience as a Product owner ideally within the marketing and/or content domains with experience developing and evolving content ecosystems evidencing improvements in customer experience alongside efficiency and cost.

  • Robust understanding of the content & marketing landscape, market trends, and user needs, which you'll use to craft the strategic direction and identify new opportunities to create seamless, omnichannel experiences through consistent, impactful content and digital assets across all channels. Demonstrating flexibility to adapt content strategies based on these trends, audience needs, and real-time insights.

  • Strong leadership, management, and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower the lab.

  • Proven experience in marketing and content products, with a deep understanding of content management and creation tools such as Adobe AEM, Adobe Workfront, and Figma.

  • Possess the strategic vision and tenacity to own the product strategy and drive organisational changes necessary to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Your blend of data expertise, critical thinking, and business intuition enables you to develop a compelling product vision and strategy.

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills to drive compelling narratives and cases on value propositions, synthesised from a variety of inputs including industry benchmarks.

  • Creative thinking to develop unique and compelling stories that resonate with the target audience.

  • Experience of adding new value within diverse business and technical environments, applying your knowledge of the business and the marketplace.

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior leaders, confidently conveying our storytelling vision and securing buy-in from C-level executives for deploying our reimagined content supply chain and achieving best-in-class status.
