We are seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our Enterprise Experience Design team and support our Emerging Technology and Innovation (ET&I) colleagues.

This role is integral to shaping, curating, and driving our internal and external communications strategy for ET&I. You'll play a pivotal role in managing communications across various channels, ensuring they are engaging, impactful, and aligned with our strategic goals – from planning through to execution.

You'll collaborate with a team of product owners and designers within the ET&I space, bringing our ideas to life for the wider LBG community. Your role will involve:

  • Evaluating and optimising existing communication channels, streamlining processes where necessary.

  • Developing communications strategy and implementing an internal and external communications and engagement plan.

  • Utilise your UX, Visual and Content Design skills to produce engaging content that clearly communicates the ethos, achievements and impact our ET&I colleagues are delivering.

  • Plan, organise and host internal and external events.

  • Effectively analysing and measuring the impact of all communications.

  • Ensuring the production of high-quality communication materials across channels such as email newsletters, our social Viva Engage community and podcasts.

  • Overseeing content and structure management on SharePoint.

  • Proofreading and creating engaging content with a focus on different target audiences to ensure communications resonate effectively.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in developing a communications strategy for both internal and external audiences.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent UX, Content and Visual Design crafts.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.

  • Experience in planning and launching communications across various internal and external channels.

  • Strong competency in information gathering and stakeholder engagement/management.

  • Experience in promotional visual design (print and digital), with familiarity in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite and Synthesia.

  • Experience in planning and hosting events.

And someone who is

  • Confident and proactive in bringing ideas to the table.

  • A strong storyteller capable of crafting compelling narratives and measuring the impact.

  • Independent and persistent in chasing content when necessary.
