  • JOB TITLE: Corporate Partnerships Pricing Analyst
  • SALARY: £35,340
  • LOCATION(S): Leeds or Newport
  • HOURS: Full-time- Fixed Term Contract until December 2025.
  • WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites. We'll need you to be based a commutable distance from our Leeds hub or Newport office for the duration of the Fixed Term Contract. In the event of a permanent opportunity in the future, that would need to be aligned to our Leeds or Bristol hubs

About this Opportunity

We’re looking to recruit a Pricing Analyst to join the Corporate Partnerships Pricing team within the Corporate Partnerships team in General Insurance. This role is critical to support the growth strategy that Lloyds Banking Group is adopting over the next few years.

This role offers a superb opportunity to become part of our Team that sets home insurance premiums across multiple brands in a highly dynamic environment.

There is no typical day in the life of a Pricing Analyst making it both an exciting and rewarding role. As pricing is a key cornerstone within the business there’s opportunity to get involved in a wide variety of business wide initiatives to provide analytical expertise and help maintain our position as a leading General Insurance home provider.

Accountabilities:

•            Carry out statistical analysis of general insurance products

•            Deliver high quality exhibits in a timely fashion

•            Maintain an in-depth level of technical knowledge of general insurance products.

•            Produce management information and supporting analysis relating to product performance, portfolio mix, regularly or ad-hoc, for use by LBG GI Senior Management.

•            Understand Key Performance Indicators/ Key Risk Indicators and support the monitoring and delivery of such.

•            Assist in maintaining and monitoring departmental databases.

•            Ensure that modelling adheres to model development and peer review standards

What you’ll need

•            Strongly numerate with analytical skills (to degree standard or equivalent analytical experience)

•            Coding experience e.g. SAS, SQL, R

•            Strong Microsoft Excel skills

•            Demonstrate proficiency towards statistical analysis techniques such as generalised linear modelling

•            Pricing or actuarial experience would be advantageous
