JOB TITLE: Associate, Analytics - Balance Sheet Management

LOCATION: London & Edinburgh

HOURS: Full-Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites

About This Opportunity

Client Services Group (CSG) focuses on the financial needs of large corporate clients within Corporate & Institutional Banking division. Our purpose-led, disciplined growth strategy builds on our expertise in transaction banking, debt financing and risk management.

You'll work within Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function in CSG leading and contributing to the delivery and implementation of CSG’s analytics objectives. This includes shaping, developing, driving and embedding analytical tools and providing insights to coverage and product areas as well as into specialist functions in Risk, Finance and/or Treasury (where appropriate).

  • Corporate & Institutional Banking (CIB) Balance Sheet Strategy: Develop meaningful insights to drive and shape the direction of our CIB Balance Sheet. Exhibit strong leadership skills by taking the helm in various initiatives and projects.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and partners through effective collaboration. Ensure the development of tools and identification of opportunities align with needs and remain fit for purpose. Roll out of tools to stakeholders through workshops and presentations.

What You'll Need

  • Excellent stakeholder management
    • Track record of building strong relationships across varied subject areas
    • Strong communication skills: in meetings, in writing and presentations
    • Experience gathering requirements and user stories
    • Experience extracting insights from and telling stories with data, to drive action and improve business outcomes (i.e. data translator)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, meticulous and numerate
  • Experience in SQL and Power BI is essential
  • Able to think strategically, yet understands operational detail
  • Keen learner with drive for excellence and thinking out of the box
