JOB TITLE:          Business Agility Lead

LOCATION(S):    Jersey, St Helier and Isle of Man, Douglas

HOURS:              Full Time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Agility Lead (BAL) within our Lloyds Bank Corporate Markets (LBCM) Technology and Change team, that will support teams across the bank in agile coaching, driving effectiveness, efficiency and predictability to deliver value to customers and colleagues at pace!

The Business Agility Lead will work in the Crown Dependencies Lab within our Technology & Change team, supporting our 7 Feature Teams. The Crown Dependencies Lab is based across Jersey, the Isle of Man, Guernsey and the UK, covering a broad range of deliverables and clients.

In this role you’ll:

  • Empower and drive mindset and culture change across the labs.
  • Support the Senior BAL to understand data and insights and use it to problem-solve and support Lab performance and productivity to drive lab cadence, and data quality.
  • Support with Lab performance including data quality, optimising flow of work, Lab topology, and agile practices.
  • Support colleagues within your lab and platform to implement and refine agile practices (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, scaled frameworks etc.), using experience, data and relevant business knowledge.
  • Support the Lab in Agile Methodology and Tooling, to stand up new agile teams, providing coaching and advice and sharing experience on the most appropriate methods and tools to use for the specific work required. Support and coach teams with various techniques, including facilitation, training and education where required and continuously evolving market insights.

What we need from you

We’re actively seeking to build a team that reflects a wide range of experiences and thinking approaches and would like to encourage applications from candidates with different background and ways of thinking.

You should have experience of working in change delivery, ideally in an agile team, however this is not a necessity. You should demonstrate a strong understanding of agile practices, be proactive and have a desire to complete agile courses/training.

Desirable skills include:

Agile Coaching - Experience in Coaching (with relevant certifications desired e.g. Kanban, PSM3, coaching or other equivalent qualifications etc.).

Agile Toolset - Working experience of using Agile toolset including JIRA, JIRA Align and Confluence.

Data-lead decision making - Evidenced experience in using data and insights to problem solve driving productivity and cadence.

Please note, to be eligible for this role – you’ll need to have Residency and the Right to Work in either, Jersey or Isle of Man.
