JOB TITLE: Head of Data & Enablement

SALARY: £114,810 - £135,070

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Halifax, Leeds

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least

two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Risk Division is central to Lloyds Banking Group and data is a key enabler in satisfying the needs of our internal and external customers. The RDE purpose is to enable  through Trusted Data. This role will  be working closely with the Risk Platform team as we move towards our future state as you help drive how we strategically change for the benefit of our Colleagues, Customers, and the Group.

The Head of Data Enablement is responsible for the transformation of the Risk MI  function from definition of delivery to the operating model structure, scope and ways of working. You'll own how we partner with Risk Teams and also CDAO and support the  Risk Platform teams.   This role will act as a  as a main connector to enable the functional redesign and controlled delivery of Risk wide interactive MI & Data solutions.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for MI across the Risk Division. 

  • Lead team of experts who manipulate / curate data to enable key reporting across the Risk function and Customer facing business units fostering a culture of high performance excellence and innovation.

  • Ensure on time delivery of current reporting and data extracts that support key activity across Finance

  • Develop and monitor the data controls underpinning the data used across Risk processes

  • Working with end users determine the optimal way to deliver data and insight  to them

  • Work with Visualization teams to uplift the usage of interactive reporting with use of the Groups strategic toolset.

  • Create and implement key design standards for reporting building new reports using the groups strategic tool set including GenBI

  • Partner with CDAO to drive forward data as an asset to enable data driven decisions

What you'll need:

  • You will have experience across various Data Management and, Privacy and Control disciplines with a proven track records of success. You have a sound understanding of the Financial Services Sector and or large Corporate environments. With a proven ability to quickly learn and adapt to new challenges, you’ll also have well-developed communication and influencing skills at a Senior Management Level. You're happy to challenge the status quo and comfortable making and justifying decisions. You're also able to handle conflicting demands whilst delivering to deadlines.

  • You are knowledgeable about how Risk works within a multi-product regulated organisation which you will have had operational experience.

  • You will have had leadership experience in the Data environment so that you understand the key concepts of data including how it is curated, processed, and managed.

  • You are a dynamic and adaptable leader who is able to identify business needs, shape initiatives, and deliver ground-breaking solutions from both a process and technology
