JOB TITLE: Senior Product Manager – Commercial Cards
LOCATION: Birmingham or Leeds

HOURS: Full Time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in the office.

About This Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Product Manager to join our Commercial Cards Product team. You'll be accountable for innovation and New Product and Partnership strategy and will be a key contributor to the overarching Commercial Card Strategy. You'll partner our Platform and Engineering teams, Relationship teams, Supplier Management and Group Sourcing teams as well as working alongside Customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and objectives.

The Commercial Card business is looking to transform at pace and has entered an exciting new partnership phase with Visa, so there couldn't be a better time to join us!

Your accountabilities will include:

  • Own and drive the Partnership strategy for Corporate Products.
  • Take ownership for New Product initiatives and work in close collaboration with Platform Product Owners to execute strategy.
  • Being an SME in the Corporate product portfolio and contribute to evolving the proposition to meet customer and business needs and ensure competitive advantage.
  • Implement product plans considering industry and economic information, market intelligence, customer/sector behaviour, emerging technology and regulatory requirements.
  • Work with and identify Partner organisations to add value to the overall Commercial Card proposition.
  • Work with Risk partners to ensure the evolution of the Commercial Card business is fully aligned to risk appetite and policy and that all appropriate approvals are acquired and maintained, raising risks where required.
  • Support on delivery of initiatives with collaborators, team members, and customers to continuously improve platforms and processes.
  • Understand product governance requirements to ensure compliance.
  • Aid in creating cases to obtain funding for the development and implementation of product plans.
  • Work closely with MI team to monitor, understand the commercial performance of the product portfolio.

What we need from you?

  • Excellent knowledge of Accounts Payables / Receivables processes and practices.
  • Proven understanding of the B2B Payments eco-system.
  • A background in Commercial Cards.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to think laterally, be innovative and find creative solutions

And any experience of these would be useful:

  • Leading commercial agreements and P&L management.
  • Product strategy, development and management.
