JOB TITLE: Associate Director - Cash Management & Payments (CMP)
LOCATION(S): London
HOURS: Full Time
SALARY - £81,999 - £100,221
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, in the office.

About this opportunity

We're seeking a hardworking Associate Director to support the commercialisation of cash management and payment solutions for Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB). You'll focus on interbank solutions development on LBG's market-leading Gem platform which offers a modern and scalable CMP proposition which is vital in delivering the Group’s growth ambition, underlining its strategic importance to the business.

The CIB business provides a diverse range of CMP solutions delivering market leading products, services and channels to highly sophisticated clients who demand a deep level of expertise from their CMP provider.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

  • Articulate and tell the story of the benefits of the CMP proposition, particularly those tailored to FI client needs.
  • Analyse market and industry trends, existing and potential customers, embracing data analytics as a means of gaining payments & liquidity insight.
  • Deliver agreed initiatives, content and tasks to achieve continuous improvement to propositions and processes for the benefit our customers.
  • Build, maintain, engage and lead multiple partners, internally & externally to build brand awareness and knowledge of our offering to optimise business results.
  • Review, evaluate and address potential risks, advancing when needed.
  • Represent the business at decision making forums internally and externally.

What you’ll need

  • Good market awareness of payments and cash management (clients, industries, products, innovation, technology, financial regulation) is crucial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people (internally and externally) across a diverse spectrum and areas and backgrounds.
  • Strong proficiency in the Domestic and International clearing systems.
  • Solid understanding of Interbank Swift Settlement.
  • Knowledge of ISO 20022 standards.
