Job title:  Data Management Senior Manager

Location: Leeds, Edinburgh or Bristol

Salary: £80,206 - £94,360

Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our above offices.

About this opportunity:

We're looking for a change leader to help us modernise to deliver phenomenal & innovative solutions to customers, making sure our data is well run, accurate and trusted, building the foundation for AI and future technology applications.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Recommending, designing, and leading Data Management solutions and initiatives, fostering policy, best practice, and tooling.
  • Leading investigations and analysing data to recommend and support solutions for our business areas. As well as finding opportunities to strategically implement data quality controls, data and risk management practices, mitigating risk, for the benefit of our Colleagues, Customers, and the Group.
  • Collaboratively working with colleagues and senior leaders from different areas across the Group in order to understand and provide value and insight for our customers. You'll be representing and ensuring alignment to Group policies.
  • Presenting sophisticated messaging to senior management. Especially visually and through “telling the story” in a compelling way.

What you’ll need:

  • Proven experience in leading and developing Data Management, Data Governance policies, frameworks and practices (including Data Quality and Metadata Management).
  • SME knowledge in Collibra, Ataccama and other Data Management tooling.
  • Technical background and knowledge of data engineering, analytics, and Cloud technologies.
  • Experience of leading and driving Data Governance Forums and Committees.
  • Project planning / change management experience.
  • Previous experience of leading teams.
