JOB TITLE: Senior Product Owner

SALARY: £76,000 to £89,500 per annum, plus the benefits listed below.

LOCATION: Bristol.

HOURS: Full-time.

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week currently, or 40% of our time, at our Bristol office.

We're on a journey to build the bank of the future, and we need your help! The Personalised Experiences and Communications (PEC) platform, central to the Brands, Marketing and Experiences team is pivotal to achieving the Group Personalisation strategy to be more relevant for customers. Customer Decisioning sits at the heart of PEC, developing the tools, processes and operating model to deliver truly personalised communications for our customers. There is an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Senior Product Owner to help shape and deliver our mission to transform customer experiences.

What exactly will I be responsible for?

  • Owning a decisioning product, across multiple feature teams, and be responsible for maximising the value that product delivers for our customers by transforming our decisioning ecosystem.

  • Applying your knowledge as an SME in marketing decisioning and financial services to help shape world class products that make it easy for our internal customers to deliver brilliant customer experiences.

  • Leaning in to your customer obsession to build strong relationships with our internal customers as well as using analytics to ensure our products drive real value for our customers.

  • Working alongside engineers to shape and refine our products to deliver rapid product iterations using Agile methodology, through the Product Change Framework.

  • Working closely with Product Managers to shape an ambitions product vision and roadmap that will deliver our objectives.

  • Deploying your extensive leadership experience to lead and develop a high performing team of product owners, as well as ensuring that the feature teams with which you work, can deliver brilliant products quickly.

About you

We’re looking for candidates with the following behaviours, knowledge & experience:

  • Working in financial services and extensive knowledge and experience working with and delivering value from marketing decisioning tools and processes.

  • Working in Agile and delivering products and customer value through the Product Change Framework.

  • Absolute customer obsession. Delivering products that provide proven value for customers.

  • Leading and developing high performing teams to deliver proven outcomes.                                                                                   

  • Domain expertise in marketing, customer communications and customer experience.

  • Knowledge of marketing data, GCP and how data is used to drive customer outcomes.
