JOB TITLE: Product Owner (6-months secondment/FTC)

SALARY: £76,194 - £89,640

LOCATION: Bristol

HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

Group Finance is central to Lloyds Banking Group and data is a key enabler in satisfying the needs of our internal and external customers. The Finance Data & Analytics Office (FDAO), part of the Finance Platform, is a Centre of Data Excellence encompassing activities across Data Engineering, Data Management & Culture, Data Science and Reporting with a purpose to Empower through Trusted Data. We're evolving our data & analytics offering, our ethos, and our capability to craft a truly data-led organisation which is at the heart of the Finance Strategy.

Product Owner – AI & Automation

The Data Applications & Solutions Lab within FDAO are focussed on the design and development of Data Solutions for Finance, leveraging advances in the Group's AI and Automation technologies, to deliver innovative, benefits-driven outcomes for Group Finance customers.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our backlog of AI and Automation initiatives with our customers across Group Finance, working alongside your peer in Engineering to triage, refine, mobilise and deliver use cases that will unlock and deliver business benefits.

What you'll be doing

  • Shape Product vision and roadmap

  • Prioritise, refine and manage team product backlog

  • Work with Engineering peer to manage a cross-functional team to deliver benefit-driven outcomes

  • Product control and change governance

  • Own and continually improve upon our current approaches for solving common AI use cases

  • Delivery of proofs-of-concepts that demonstrate these new capabilities and how they can deliver value

What you'll need

  • Experience working in an agile environment, focussed on delivering iterative value

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams

  • Understanding of risks and mitigators for Generative AI applications
