JOB TITLE: Manager - Mass Affluent Insurance, Pensions & Investments Propositions
LOCATION(S): Bristol, London, Leeds, Halifax, Birmingham, Edinburgh
HOURS: Full-time
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time at an office hub mentioned above

We're looking for an enthusiastic and passionate leader to help us play a broader role in the lives of Mass Affluent customers and deliver our growth ambitions.
Reporting into the Senior Manager for MA IP&I Propositions, you'll be principally responsible for applying customer and market insight & behavioural thinking to optimise and improve our customer engagement models and value propositions to support delivery of the Mass Affluent income and growth ambitions for IP&I.
In doing so, you'll be collaborating with colleagues across Lloyds Banking Group (e.g., in Insurance, Pensions and Investments division & Scottish Widows workplace) to support the design and delivery of customer experiences that motivate and support individuals to build their financial resilience. Our proposition will be aligned and integrated with the wider Mass Affluent strategy. We’ve got some lofty goals and targets, and we need someone to support the solutions that will achieve them.
You'll be running workshops, leading ideation sessions, supporting business cases all with the ability to pivot plans at short notice, learning fast and changing course accordingly.
A key strategic delivery for 2025+ is to help more customers make their money work harder through a better understanding and use of investments. A big focus of the role will be exploring how guidance can support us with this challenge including new tools, journeys and marketing plans.
Customer centric - anticipates customer’s needs and uses customer input and steer to present targeted, integrated, and outcome-focused solutions and opportunities.
Proposition Design – experience of working across propositions, products, channel distribution and marketing to design and deliver market-leading digital propositions which solve our target market jobs to be done.
Creativity and Innovation – bringing creativity and a different way of thinking will be critical- ‘Be Bold’ is the value we live by! Use external insights and problems as opportunities to generate new ideas and experiments with original ideas to test their effectiveness and ability to increase business growth.
Market awareness - Deep understanding and track record of working with investment products and solutions. Knowledge of industry developments and innovation in digital-first distribution models for insurance, pensions and investments.
Delivery – change leader with strong organisational skills to deliver initiatives at pace whilst dealing with multiple priorities and ambiguity.
Storytelling– uses empathy, observation, and data to tailor a narrative that connects with the 'hearts and minds' and helps to sell new ideas, products, and services.
