Job description

  • Design, develop, and maintain Workday solutions, including configurations, integrations, and customisations to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse business processes, and recommend innovative solutions leveraging Workday capabilities.  
  • Lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions within the Workday platform.  
  • Architect and implement technical Workday solutions that adhere to LBG best practices, security standards, and performance optimizations.  
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development.  
  • Conduct code reviews, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous enhancement of development processes and methodologies.  
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions, ensuring system stability and reliability.  
  • Stay updated on Workday platform updates, new features, and industry trends, and assess their impact on existing implementations.  
  • Grows own capabilities by pursuing and investing in personal development opportunities and develops the capabilities of direct reports by working within existing development framework; provides specialised training or coaching in area of expertise to others throughout the organisation.
  • Identifies shortcomings and suggests improvements to existing processes, systems and procedures, then delivers a plan for a small element of a change management programme with guidance from a project/programme manager.
  • Sets short term objectives and helps manage the performance of direct reports by working within performance management systems.
