JOB TITLE:           Receivable Purchase Product Manager

LOCATION:          London

HOURS:                 Full time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

About this opportunity

The Trade and Working Capital team provides commercial banking solutions to businesses of all sizes, in the UK and internationally, including trade, invoice finance and asset finance solutions. These solutions are grounded in an in-depth understanding of clients, a passion for enabling businesses to efficiently handle their liquidity, complete payments, mitigate their risks, fund trade flows and support growth.

We’re looking for an individual who is experienced in structured trade finance and with a proven record of working with a broad spectrum of clients, from commercial to large investment grade clients. You’ll be working with the Receivable Purchase Product Director in managing the product suite, while also ensuring alignment to core regulatory requirements and compliance policies and delivering great customer outcomes.

You’ll work with a high energy team of product specialists, as well as key partners in other areas of the bank, to unlock growth whilst championing an environment of diversity and customer centric innovation, promoting new ways of working to deliver our broader purpose – Helping Britain Prosper.

Role Accountabilities

  • Develop and execute product strategy for receivables finance.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback for product innovation.
  • Manage the product lifecycle from ideation to launch.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements e.g. Basel
  • Provide training and support to coverage and sales teams.
  • Analyse product performance and risk metrics and report to senior management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including external vendors, for product delivery and performance.

What you’ll need

  • Expert level knowledge of the receivables finance product principles and associated risks, including credit and fraud risk, and the legal and regulatory dynamics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven track record of leadership in cross-functional team management.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience or qualifications in project management would be preferable
