About this opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to join the Lloyds Bank General Insurance Customer & Products team as a Product Performance & Analysis Manager.

In this role you’ll use your outstanding analytical skills to understand the factors that influence how our products perform, from a customer value and regulatory perspective. Enhancing our current range of insights you'll build a comprehensive picture of performance, identifying new areas to explore and challenging existing processes.

Using your experience of the financial sector and strong stakeholder management skills, you'll interpret results and identify improvements to our products and services, working collaboratively to see these through to completion.

Knowledge of the FCA’s Consumer Duty and the responsibilities this puts on manufacturers and distributers in the General Insurance market will help you contextualise performance and identify areas to improve.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responsible for crafting the next phase of our Consumer Duty analytics, embedding capabilities to drive actionable insights and influencing collaborators to deliver change focussed on improving customer outcomes.
  • Use effective prioritisation to shape the backlog of Consumer Duty insight development, working closely with the IP&I Data & Analytics team.
  • Utilising a strong stakeholder network, you'll be able to put data driven insights into context driving action plans to improve our service and proposition for customers.
  • Articulate what the results mean in relation to customer outcomes and adherence to regulation, including the FCA’s Consumer Duty.

Why Lloyds Banking Group

Like the modern Britain we serve, we’re evolving. Investing billions in our people, data and tech to transform the way we meet the ever-changing needs of our 26 million customers. We’re growing with purpose. Join us on our journey and you will too!

What you’ll need:

  • Experience in Financial Services, preferably General Insurance
  • Experience evaluating business performance from a customer and regulatory perspective
  • Strong knowledge of Consumer Duty regulation
  • Highly numerate with experience interrogating data to produce actionable insights. Able to articulate technical concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Experience interpreting and visualising data is crucial for this role. You’ll be able to identify patterns in structured and unstructured data.
  • Understanding of data lineage with the ability to critically assess what factors should be considered when evaluating suitability of data sources for different tasks
  • Confident in use of Excel, Tableau or Power BI to visualise large data sets – aiding effective decision making.
  • Ability to quickly size risks and opportunities and make effective prioritisation
  • Able to authoritatively challenge and improve data quality
